Working with Rasters

and Grids

The MapInfo.Raster namespace contains all of the classes that control the use

and display of raster and grid images in MapXtreme. Rasters are computer

graphics that are composed of pixels that render a whole image. Many satellite

images are rendered as raster images. Grid images are thematic maps that

show a continuous gradation of color to represent interpolated information.
